During my time at USFSP's graphic design program, a local brewery, 3 Daughters, asked our package design class to help them find new design ideas for three new beers they would be putting out the following year. My design branched off the nautical theme they had already established with their other beer cans, but was inspired by elements of the St. Petersburg area. The Ladida Shandy name was inspired by the Dali Museum, Hammer Hops IPA was inspired by the hammerhead shark population in the Tampa Bay. Lastly the Cruisin' Lager was inspired by the slow and steady leisurely cruises around the beach or down Beach Drive.

In addition to the beer can design, 3 Daughters was looking to explore beer box packaging for the first time. My design is for a variety pack that was based largely on product placement and grabbing consumer's attention. After visiting the stores that carry the beers already, I noticed that the beers are placed at the top near the lights and next to both bold colors and darker color packaging. I tested the various colors that I had used in my cans to see which reflects the light the best. In the end I decided to go with a bright white to stand out from the full color boxes on either side, and the brightest green of my color scheme for the box ends. I also designed a custom perforated pull tab opening at the box end.
Williams Park is a historic location in the heart of downtown St. Petersburg, Florida. While the city was trying to activate this area and make it more family friendly, they were in need for new ideas on how to accomplish this. Myself and four other designers chose to focus on the need for better navigation and lighting throughout the park. We developed a concept called Urban Lights, which utilized light up benches through the park that would help solve both of these problems. Our design attracts people of many ages and can change depending on the music and theme of each event. Our package was designed for community members to buy in support of the parks re-branding. The WiPa Kit includes a three month event calendar, a blanket for yoga or picnics, a water bottle and a grub card for the food trucks that are at the monthly concerts. During this process I primarily worked on social media marketing assets we used to promote our design of the parks re-branding on Facebook.
Beaches Boutique is a mock clothing brand that branched off from a project I did while freelancing for PNC's merchant training department. The concept of the Beaches Boutique's brand is to recognize the beauty in being natural, and to empower women of all shapes and sizes to be proud of their bodies. Seashells have been used for centuries in art to represent women for their natural beauty and fertility. I use this brand to push the idea that, like the seashell, women are constructed perfectly for their purpose in life, come in many shapes and sizes, and they are all beautiful. They are all made perfect by nature.
